Opening of Diagnostic, Treatment and Education Center of the Tajik National University in Dushanbe

On June 20, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, inaugurated the Diagnostic, Treatment and Education Center of the Tajik National University on the campus.

The newly built building of the Diagnostic, Treatment and Education Center was constructed in the light of the educational policy of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, in anticipation of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence.

The facility is located on an area of 0.83 hectares of land, and the building itself is 3,680 square meters.

Construction work on the Diagnostic, Treatment and Education Center of the Tajik National University began in 2023 and was built in compliance with modern industry requirements.

Construction work was carried out by the “Fayzi Javoni” Limited Liability Company and consists of 5 floors and a basement.

The floor and the surrounding area of the Diagnostic, Treatment and Education Center of the Tajik National University have been paved over an area of seven thousand square meters, and have also been landscaped.

This facility includes a conference hall for 60 people, 61 offices, and other necessary rooms such as X-ray examination, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound examination, infectious disease specialist, dentistry, urology, surgery, drug administration, anesthesiology, blood collection, biochemical examination, pharmacy, and laboratories.

The offices and laboratories are equipped with new-generation specialized equipment and devices, and from now on, the necessary conditions have been created for conducting practical training.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that, taking into account the requirements of this field, the upper floors of the center have rooms for allergists, hematologists, gynecologists, otolaryngologists, therapists, family doctors, neurologists, pediatricians, endocrinologists, and ophthalmologists. The center is able to provide high-quality medical services to 300 employees and teachers, university students and other applicants at the same time.

A medicinal herb pharmacy, a laboratory for the preparation of prescription drugs, eight classrooms for lectures and work rooms are separate parts of the facility.

The conditions and opportunities provided in the center will be used in the future as an important experimental and practical base for the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, chemistry and biology of the university, contributing to the further improvement of students’ professional skills.

During the visit, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of the work and gave specific instructions and recommendations to those responsible for preparing worthy successors to Sino.
